MEET POPPO!!!

This is Poppo (my dad) and, of course, my mom!

Poppo and Mom (aka Dick and Jean Subber) live in New Jersey and are standing in the living room of the only house I've ever called "home." They've been married since 1945 and lived in NJ, in this house, since 1951. Poppo is a retired Letter Carrier (U.S. Postal Service) and is a WWII veteran. Mom continues to work part-time in a clerical position and enjoys quilting. Both volunteer as Blood Drive Captains and at a local hospital. They enjoy going to plays given by local theater groups and stay so active that I wonder how it is they ever worked full time and raised a family!

Poppo enjoys playing the chef and Mom happily washes up the pots, pans, and assorted bowls that he uses. Together, they "whomp up" simple, yet ever-so-tasty, meals.
