Recipe: Cheeseburger Pie

"Cheeseburger Pie sounds intriguing, doesn't it? It is delicious and easy to make!" said Poppo.

You'll need:

 

fry pan or electric skillet

large mixing bowl

9-inch pie pan

 

Ingredients:

 

1 pound ground beef

1 cup chopped onion

1/2 tsp of salt (optional)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 eggs

1/2 cup Bisquick mix

1 cup milk

 

Directions:

 

In fry pan or electric skillet, saute onion and ground beef until the ground beef is completely cooked. Drain thoroughly.

 

Mix eggs, Bisquick, and milk in mixing bowl. Blend well to make batter.

 

Put meat and onion mixture into pie pan. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of meat and onion mixture.

 

Pour batter on top of cheese, meat, and onion.

 

Bake Cheeseburger Pie for approximately 25 minutes at 400 degrees until it tests dry (put in a cake tester and pull it out dry).

 

Let cool for 10 minutes, serve while warm.
